Maple & Walnut End Grain

A professional cutting board in solid wood (maple and American walnut), carefully built by hand from dozens of individual pieces of wood.
The grain pattern is unique to this board and will never repeat.
The board is built end grain: the knife passes between the wood fibres instead of cutting through them.
This keeps your knives sharp and greatly reduces cut marks.
Building it took about 15 hours of hands-on work (selecting the wood, milling, cutting, planing, gluing, sanding and finishing) to reach the highest standard of finish.

*Comes without feet. Feet can be fitted on request – note that this makes the board single-sided.
Ideal for carving and serving meat.
