More about this piece
Black Coral is a set of three panels made together and meant to hang side by side. In each panel the forms flow and branch like coral, and hung in a row the three become one wide piece, more than 1.3 metres across.
The relief reaches 5 to 6 cm deep and the black ground deepens the shadows, so the piece changes with the light in the room and through the day. The surface is textured and carries the marks of handwork.
Each panel measures 43 by 66 cm and weighs about 4 kg. The panels come in natural-tone wooden frames, ready to hang.
They can hang in a row, as in the photos, or in another arrangement that suits the wall.
